Down for a nap about 10:30. Up at 1:00. Lunch: grilled cheese & tomatoes. Robert is LOVING the little sippy Mom has w/o the sucking regulator. He was a little surprised by how quickly the water flowed, but got pretty excited to find out getting a drink could be so easy :-)

Update to yesterday... 2:00 Up from a nap. Lunch: Chili, corn, garlic bread. MESSY fun! I figured you needed to see the masterpiece Robert made of himself...a closeup was really necessary to get the full effect













3:00 Visit to the temple. Earlier in the day we had our nursery lesson on the temple, so we went to the Timpanogas temple and walked around.

We took a break to watch Papa shovel...fascinating!

9:30 Snack: bananas and sweet bread (funny story...since I didn't have time before coming up yesterday, Allan made his own bread. He used the last two cups from a mix in a small unlabeled container; it's the only unmarked one, and I know what it is, so I didn't feel any need to mark it. Allan called me asking what it was because the bread turned out very differently...it's cupcake mix - so he made bread with the entire flour component being from a cupcake mix. So funny. Hence...the sweet bread. It's good; Max particularly likes it. Somehow it feels better giving them sweet bread rather than cupcakes.

Robert climbed into our camping chair all by himself. I walked into the living room, and he was chilling in the chair. Super cute.

3:00 Went on a walk down to the Christmas House and around the neighborhood. Robert loved touching the snow on the sides of the stroller as we went.



4:15 Back home, and put Robert down for a nap. Fell asleep around 5. Did his diaper trick :-) so it took a while for him to sleep!

10:00 Play in the snow...there was a good deal of crying getting into the gear, but the boys had a great time for about five minutes outside. They especially loved the icicles. Robert would laugh every time he knocked one down. He also liked eating snow. The boys were soon "All Done!" and wanted their gear OFF...NOW! I couldn't ever figure out if I had Robert's boots on the way. Regardless of the effort it's nice to spend some time outside each day! :-)

Catching up...

Some photos from the aquarium. Robert was mostly in the stroller, but LOVED playing in the coral reefs and kept peeking in at the fish they had in aquariums inside. So cute!





Playing at Grammy and Papa's. An interest in books lately, I've noticed...






















Raking Leaves. Robert not only loves leaves, but especially loves the water they're sometimes resting in. While I was taking the pictures today of Robert bending down to pick up a leaf, he bypassed the leaf and started slurping up the water. I of course stopped him quickly, but couldn't help but laughing.














Building a fort (or rather turning over a Pack and Play and putting up some blankets). The boys LOVED it...and continue to LOVE it!

12:30 Changed poopy diaper #1. Tried to put Robert down for a nap. not so successful. Played the perfect timing poopy diaper trick. Finally fell asleep around 1:30

10:45 Changed poopy diaper #1 (there were 2 more within the next 90 minutes!) Not plugged up today! No rash issues, though.

12:00 Milk, and down for a nap. Didn't go down right away, went in to check his diaper again, but it was clean. Gave him back his sippie which he'd thrown out of the crib, and tucked him back in. He fussed for seconds, and then fell asleep around 12:30.
