1:30 Down for a nap. Fell asleep well, but woke up forty-five minutes later needing a diaper change. Changed him and he went back to sleep for another 45 minutes.
3:30 Up from nap. 2nd lunch - baked potato and chili. Robert threw up a little about 30 minutes later. He threw up last Thursday, too. Not sure why.
He's played SO well today, and has been very cute with Max.
We'll have preschool and then head outside to play some.

Robert woke up around 2:30. He wet out of his diaper while he was asleep. Apparently Robert has a particular fashion sense. He was NOT happy to be changed. For lunch, Robert ate a sandwich and yogurt. We read a few books about animals, shapes, and colors. He spotted a broom in one of the books and was thrilled.
10:00 Puzzles

10:30 Nursery Lesson: I Have a Body Like Heavenly Father's
Songtime: If You're Happy, I Wiggle, I Have Two Little Hands
11:00 Outside: Hooray! Robert was SO interested in the slide, but would only climb up. When I tried to help him up the stairs and to the slide, he found the steering wheel and never looked back. It was decided after a time, by Max, that we must go to the other park with the swings. A LONG walk later, we were there. The boys were in heaven swinging and playing, but were surprisingly accommodating when we came back in. We had a short reading time, and then I put Robert down...no fuss...fell asleep right away...first time in a LONG LONG time he's done that!

We had Robert for a sleepover. Hooray! The boys had so much fun. They couldn't get enough of each other...LOTS of hugs!

When Robert woke up, he somehow thought he should have a squishy rubber pumpkin in his cereal.

Then Grammy came to pick Robert up, but stayed and played a while. There's been some branching out since it's been too cold, foggy, and icy to play outside - hence a backpacking tent one day, and the kiddie pool another. The boys LOVED that Grammy brought one of their favorite treats - gummies! We played puppets, which Robert loved, especially the lion.

It's getting harder to update this because although the boys can self-entertain easier, keeping them involved in activities besides just unstructured play is BUSY, in addition to the preparation and cleaning up that is involved with 3 meals a day and 2-3 snacks. So sorry!
9:00 2nd breakfast: hashbrowns, eggs & ham, and oranges
9:45 Nursery lesson: The Sabbath Day
10:00 Songtime: I'll Walk with You, Chapel Doors, Reverently, Quietly, Remember the Sabbath Day.
10:30 On to the Bean Museum for 11:00 storytime and the museum afterwords
12:15 Robert fell asleep on the way home for about twenty minutes; he apparently thinks that's all the nap he should have today.
12:45 Lunch: cocoa krispies (sorry, I was planning on being up at mom and dad's today so I didn't go grocery shopping last night :-))
1:15 Safari puppet show
1:30 Down for naps. Robert's never took. He babbled happily for about 45 minutes, and then cried. I went in changed his diaper, gave him more milk in his sippy, but it still didn't take. So he was up around 3:00. Max got up a half an hour later, and Robert ran to his door saying "Ma, Ma." He gets it :-)
I wish I could have gotten some photos today of Robert and Max touching the skink, and running around seeing the animals at the BYU museum. Honestly, though, with neither in strollers at this point, holding a camera and shooting a picture is probably too much time for one boy or another to get into trouble (innocent trouble, that is :-))
Now the boys are playing in the kiddie pool I brought in from the garage.

2:30 Up from nap. Vacuumed (somewhat b/c it was needed, and somewhat b/c Robert LOVES it). I love how in the first picture it looks like he's sizing up the vacuum. He heaved it all on his own!

3:00 Took Allan to the airport, talked about planes and watched them take off (our next mode of transportation is planes).
4:00 Nursery lesson: Jesus Christ Showed Us How to Love Others

9:30 2nd breakfast: Trix
10:30 Ride the Train, and play at Southtowne kiddie area. The boys loved it all. We rode in the red caboose. Robert stood at the side nearly the entire time watching the shops go by. Afterwards at the kiddie play area, Robert particularly loved the big dinosaur prints, and the tunnel. Of course on the way out, there were the riding machines, so the Robert and Max played on those, and Robert especially liked driving the jeep.

11:00 Snack - fruit snacks
12:00 Home, tofu veggie fried rice and bananas for lunch
12:30 Beginnings of attempted nap time. Successful around 1:30

Kind of a busy day! A little bit of a blur, it sometimes is hard to remember details and times...
Throughout today, Robert had an egg, banana, and apple for 2nd breakfast, PB & J sandwich for lunch, and broccoli and cheese for a 2nd lunch.
We had a nursery lesson: Heavenly Father and Jesus Love Me and sang, "We are Different," "I Lived in Heaven," "If With All Your Hearts," "I Need My Heavenly Father," and "I'll Walk with You."
We've played with cars and blocks, had reading time, went to Costco, had Preschool about airplanes, made paper airplanes, and are now (at 4:30) playing in the TUNNEL! SO fun!
Today Robert said "Timber" and "Tower"

2:00 Woke up...eating soon (Rice, beans, corn)
2:00 Woke up...eating soon (Rice, beans, corn)
7:00 Robert was up. Took a bath and had eggs, toast, and pears for breakfast. Believe it or not that whole process from start to finish took a couple hours. Then Allan blessed me with a half hour to go exercise before he went to work while he watched the boys.
9:30 The boys played happily for half and hour just reading books in Max's room, so I just joined in. It was cute.
10:00 Nursery lesson: We Pray to Heavenly Father. Songtime: We are Different, Pray in Faith, Child's Prayer, Thanks to Thee, I Thank Thee Dear Father
11:00 Snack - tortilla and cheese
11:30 Duplos

WHAT A DAY! 2:40 and still no naps for either boy...however, they're pleasant for now!
Before Max woke up, Robert and I played building towers
Around 9:30 we had a 2nd breakfast, yogurt parfaits. Then we had a nursery lesson on Heavenly Father's Plan and sang: "I Know My Father Lives," "I Will," "I'll Walk with You" Robert and Max have been interested today in cleaning, vacuum, rags, whatever! Robert has been sucking and biting on rags this week (I think b/c he's been teething like you said) so I gave him some Tylenol before a nap attempt at 12:00

At about 11:00, we played outside for a while, trying to work off some energy for sleeping. Aren't they so cute together?!

Then a snack of peanut butter crackers, reading time, and nap attempt. Robert did his diaper trick, but I kept him down afterwards, but to no avail at 12:30, after an hour effort. So we had turkey melts for lunch, and have played some more. We will be starting preschool soon. I'll hopefully try again around 3 or so.

A new year! Robert is showing more and more personality. All the way home from picking him up for the day, he was flashing grins at anyone who may see.

10:00 Nursery lesson: I am a Child of God
