4:00 Frozen yogurt on the way home (probably only 1/4 cup if that), also a 7 oz bottle. I thought he'd fall asleep. I even draped his blanket over the stroller canopy so it would be darker...to no avail...too many things to look at.

5:00 Back home...I thought Allan was going to be home so I could meet Bryce by 6, so I didn't put Robert down for a 2nd nap, figuring it would only be for 1/2 hour at most. But Bryce ended up needing to come down to pick up Robert, and didn't get here until 6:30. SORRY! Poor Robert didn't have a 2nd nap today. Hopefully he slept well on the way home!

5:30 Changed Robert's diaper.

10:00 Diaper change, 7 oz bottle and down for a nap
12:00 Up from nap, frosted cupcakes, Robert thought they were yummy! We read one of Max's favorite books, "If You Give a Cat a Cupcake..." which states, "If you give a cat a cupcake, he'll ask for some sprinkles to go with it..."



1:00 Real lunch :-) Whole nutra-grain bar. Wasn't a fan of peaches, but you may be horrified to know...Robert likes tofu!

1:30 Poopy diaper change with ointment.

9:30 playing in the kitchen with bowls, spatulas, etc.
10:00 Diaper change with ointment, 7 oz bottle, down for a nap at 10:30, fell asleep around 11:00.

3:45 Up from nap. Diaper change. Nursery lesson #19 I Can Be Happy. Songs "Smiles," "If You're Happy..."

4:00 1/2 of his granola bar, 1/2 jar of pears

1:00 Played with the nesting cups - building towers and such. Read some books abt animals and shapes.

2:30 Bottle and down for a nap.

12:30 Changed poopy diaper with ointment...Then...DISCOVERY...

11:45 Up from nap. Played with different sounds...plastic, rocks, wood banged against each other.

12:15 1/4 c of macaroni cheese, 1/4 cup of mandarin oranges

10:00 Finished 4 oz of bottle, down for a nap. Still babbling at 10:30, but seeming to settle down now.

5:50 Up from nap

2:30 Painting outside with paintbrushes and water (Lorraine's idea...brilliant!) Read some books...on colors, and "ming mings (cars)." Built a fort. Played weeeeeeeeee....

9:00 1/4 of a peach, 1/4 cup rice puffs
9:30 LOTS of playing - doing puzzles, reading books (abt body parts and animals), walking with the truck.

10:45 Bottle and down for a nap

2:30 Up from nap. Slept 2 1/2 hours! Woke up happy, with a pretty messy diaper even. Changed diaper. You have such a CUTE son. That smile will melt hearts! We practiced some walking. He's getting good!



3:00 Robert's making up for lost time in regards to food...since he ate so little yesterday, he's added a nutra-grain bar and the rest of the jar of rice cereal and applesauce to the growing list of food for today :-)

12:00 6 oz bottle and down for a nap.

10:30 Home from the park. Diaper change with ointment. Ate two peach slices, 1/2 jar of applesauce and rice cereal, and 1/4 jar of squash.

11:00 Nursery Lesson 18 "I Will Love Others." Songs: Jesus Said Love Everyone, We are Different.

11:30 Music time. Robert liked the drum most, especially when he and Max hid out and played under the desk.

9:30 To the park. Trail running with stroller, playing at the playground, and splashing in the creek.

Nap from just 1-2. 2:30 jar of applesauce and rice cereal. Some canned peaches, and a few animal crackers. Changed a diarrhea diaper, applied ointments.

9:30 Diaper change
10:00 Drove Allan to work, Robert had a few of those wheel snacks and a 7 oz bottle. Fell asleep on the way home, but woke up as he was getting out of the car. Sang some songs and tried to put him to sleep. Was chatty a little while then fussy. Picked him up at 11:30, had 5 oz more of a bottle...12:15 still jabbering and occasionally fussy...NOT YET ASLEEP! What time did this boy wake up this morning?? :-)
