11:00 Outside: Hooray! Robert was SO interested in the slide, but would only climb up. When I tried to help him up the stairs and to the slide, he found the steering wheel and never looked back. It was decided after a time, by Max, that we must go to the other park with the swings. A LONG walk later, we were there. The boys were in heaven swinging and playing, but were surprisingly accommodating when we came back in. We had a short reading time, and then I put Robert down...no fuss...fell asleep right away...first time in a LONG LONG time he's done that!
He had the same issue with slides at the McDonalds in Brigham. He loved the slide but it's like he was too afraid to go down. So I'd make him go down but I had to help him each time. Looks like LOTS of fun! I'm glad you got a little change in scenery today and that he went down for his nap easily.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell you that this morning, I asked him if he wanted to go play with Aunt Brionne and Max and he shook his head yes and got a BIG SMILE!

CUTE! I do give him milk in his cereal, but not much, just enough to pool in the bottom a bit (b/c it likely will end up on the floor)
